Commissioned by the Festival of Nature for the River Avon Poetry Trail, ‘Four Words for Here’ is one of six signpost poems installed between Bristol and Bath.
The poem is positioned just behind Bristol Temple Meads Station, looking out through a crowd of empty frames and other signpost poems to Brock’s Bridge, which lends the first word, navette, a marquise-cut diamond, to the poem.
Follow the route or listen online to all six poems being read to the river. Poets participating are Tania Hershman, Carrie Etter, Andrew F. Giles, Jack Thacker and Holly Corfield Carr.
